Not only did I live in apartments throughout my youth, but growing up, I watched my mom work her way up from being a housekeeper to a property manager and then to a regional and asset manager. I have been around apartments and recognize the importance of the lifestyle a property provides its residents and the relationships a multifamily community fosters.

For each project, I work closely with the regional, marketing, and property managers to discuss the needs of the property and the best way to capture the assets that invite potential residents into the apartment community. Dealerships give opportunity for me to capture drone videos of both the exterior and the interior of the facility. It creates a unique perspective compared to ground videography, as I can change elevations and have free movement over furniture. I have experience shooting over 30 dealerships this way. With my experience working with dealerships, I understand that different brands have different standards for their stores, so I can work with your store to ensure that we capture it in compliance with those standards.

The hospitality industry provides the energy, the sights, the smells, the customer service, and the art of the customer experience that I love! I worked in the hospitality industry for six years while studying tourism and events in college before becoming a photographer full-time. While working three years in banquets and three years in a restaurant at a private member club, the experience taught me the importance of details, patience, and customer experience. I have a trained eye for the details, seeing that furniture and settings are lined up, evenly spaced, and symmetrical. It is ingrained not to walk past something that doesn’t belong without picking it up or removing it. So often, when I am at commercial shoots, I think back to those days and how much they trained my eye for the amount of detail that goes into this work.

All of that to say, I understand the amount of detail and planning that goes into the customer experience. Photography is a significant part of that marketing. It is the art of telling a story and setting an expectation of what a customer will experience.
